Dear all,

This Thursday in Nowe Horyzonty Cinema, the finale of the 6th season of Polish Cinema for Beginners will take place. For the closing screening we have chosen “Innocent sorcerers”, a classic piece of Polish cinematography that combines image and sound in the most incredible way.

It seems that Bazyli and Pelagia don’t care about anything. They are young, free, and want live their lives without a care in the world. Could one night spend together chance it all? This unique film directed by Andrzej Wajda, written by Jerzy Skolimowski has become one of the most stylish films in Polish history. Same happened with the soundtrack written by the renowned jazz musician Krzysztof Komeda. Innocent Sorcerers was chosen as one of the biggest masterworks of Polish cinema according to Martin Scorsese.
